What more could you ask for?
Well, Pinoccio’s Italian Ice Cream on Periwinkle Way has been around for 30 years and continues to be a hot spot for local regulars and tourists alike!
Recently named one of National Geographic’s Top 10 “Best of Everything for Families” in Southern Florida, Tom and Donna Puma really put their heart and soul into their ice cream and you can certainly taste it.
It’s always fun to spotlight people on the island that go the extra mile and I, personally, would classify heading off to Tuscany to train with an Italian expert in “gelato making” as going above and beyond what normal folks would do. But, then again, as I mentioned, Pinoccio’s Ice Cream is far from “normal”.
If you are new to Sanibel or planning to move here, then rest assured you can check off your list “to find a great local ice cream spot”…
Young and “old” alike stand in long lines and await their turn to choose from the more than 100 different delicious flavors.
Words cannot describe it, you must go there!
